Apologies for the sudden slump in posting, I will hopefully be back on track soon with Essentials Part Two. I went to hospital yesterday morning for treatment, which I currently get every 6-8 weeks. However after some blood tests, my doctor declared me 'too unwell' to go ahead with my treatment, and sent me home. Now in my head, something about that does not quite make sense, but then again I am not a doctor. Anyways, I am currently stuck in bed feeling rather uncomfortable, nevertheless I would rather be in my own bed than in these not so delightful surroundings (and no, the leather handbag is not mine, it belongs to my mother):
As is also my luck, when I returned from hospital yesterday, I hobbled up to my bedroom only to find my camera lying broken on the floor. My one and half year old nephew loves cameras, unfortunately his handling skills are somewhat lacking. However, every cloud has a silver lining, so I have decided to upgrade. With the relatively low budget I have, I am thinking of going with one of the Fujifilm Finepix range, like this delightful model:
I thought I would share these two wonderful photographs, which are the last I took with the camera that is currently serving as my nephew's newest toy.

Those pictures are stunning! I hope you get the camera of your dreams. I think I must be as delicate with mine as your nephew was with yours, I've dropped it so many times it has a dent and the flash doesn't work! I should probably get it checked out...

Those photographs are really stunning, and although it is a pity the camera got killed, at least it IS a very good excuse to invest in a new one.

Aww. It's sweet how you always try to find the bright side in things. What exactly does "too unwell" mean anyway? (rhetorical :P) I have health problems too and I just hate leaving with more questions than upon arrival. Just try to rest up and drink lots of fluids :) And ooh that new camera looks fancy, good luck!

That Fujifilm FinePix S1000fd is a great camera. I am contemplating getting one myself. Here in Holland it goes for around 219 Euro.

duuuude. I do worry about how poorly you are. I guess if you're on immuno-suppressants then you can be 'too ill for treatment' and anything else that's quite aggressive.

Oh, with two older sisters I also know ALL about the pains of handmedowns. It was particularily unfortunate when one sister when through a neon and black color combination phase...so not me.
