This editorial has been doing the rounds all week, but it is definitely worth a repost. Whilst I still cannot shake the whispers of Hedi from the back from of my mind, I find this shoot quite simply stunning. The ladies may have Balmainia, but I am excited to see what may be in store for the gents...

I adore Ash Stymest...he's actually in a band with a friend of a friend who I've met a few times...he is an extremelyyy versatile model and I'm excited to see what is to come for him!

When I first saw this ad I thought HEDI SLIMANE HEDI SLIMANE HEDI SLIMANE...I was a little surprised (and disappointed because I am anxiously awaiting his ever-elusive collection)to find out that Balmain is behind it, but the looks are great! I love the mix of edge, sophistication and tailoring. Noguchi did an amazing job styling the looks. I can't wait to see more! I wonder how Christophe Decarnin will evolve menswear at Balmain.

All I can say is that this editorial, from the photography, to the model, to the styling, is perfection, period. I've never before seen one focusing on men's fashion done so impeccably!

That model is stunning. and those clothes makes me a lot more exited than those for the ladies.
These are freaking awesome. There's so much energy present and a sense of- paused speed. Also love the fearless posing from the model+ the hair, totally awesome, and the B&W well.. that just adds that special visual sprinkle.
